STARTING PLATFORM, model AQ-SP01
The AQUEAS AQ-SP01 Starting Platform is designed for a wide coping (end wall) where the coping is between water level but no higher than 250 mm above water level.
Description
Fixing options:
(A) Fixed – Fixed using 100 mm dia. leg flanges
(B) Removable with standard legs – 2 x AQ-PS01 sockets on the front legs and cap ends on the rear legs
(C) Removable with articulated rear legs – 2 x AQ-PS01 sockets on the front legs and articulated feet on the rear legs
The (C) Removable is a popular choice as the articulated feet compensate for an uneven surfaces. Removable (B) & (C) blocks can be stored away when not required.
The starting platform is made of heavy duty 316 mirror polished stainless steel 38 mmø with a 500 mm x 500 mm non-slip pattern blue fibreglass top. It also features a backstroke bar at the front.
Platforms are supplied with blue tops as standard but can be ordered with white tops by request at time of placing order at no extra cost. They are supplied without lane numbers, if lane numbers are required this is an option and must be requested at time of placing an order at additional cost.

Which one is right for me – The starting platform must physically fit the coping / concourse. There is the coping height, coping width and water depth issues to address. Regulatory guidelines for competition and recreational swimming may also need to be observed. We can help choose the platform right for you.
